Their reliability is due to the operation of a closed and independent system, consisting of a small number of parts. The hydraulic system is operated in the absence of external energy sources. The structural integrity prevents dirt from entering the system and ensures readiness to start the engine, even in conditions of prolonged standstill.
TDI T50-P Turbine Air Starter
TDI T50-P is designed for engines ranging from 20 to 80 liters, which are designed to withstand the most challenging environmental conditions. The bladeless motor used in the T50 Series Turbine Air Starters is resistant to dirt, moisture, scale and other negative environmental factors that will cause other starters to fail. Dirty air that clogs and disables smaller starters has little effect on the TDI turbine air engine. For dirty air applications, T50-P and T50-I are unmatched. The device develops a power of 40 hp for starting medium-sized gasoline and diesel engines. With only 34 lbs (15.4 kg) and a diameter of 5.76 inches (146 mm), its size-to-power ratio is the industry standard.
